Today I put this sweater together from Carolyn Johnson’s Hoodie pattern. I lengthened it and added pockets and declined to line it. The fabric is a mystery sweater knit from upstairs at Stone Mountain and Daughter Fabrics. I burned a piece to try to guess, but, it only determined there is some poly in there. It’s really soft and cozy with a good weight.
I chose to lay out my pattern pieces so that the shaggy selvages became the front and pocket edges. Just a little warmth for Bay Area cool Spring mornings and evenings.
