I’m still reinventing my wardrobe. From my past life as a subdued library worker designing on the side, to my new one…all making, all the time. Working at Stone Mountain and Daughter Fabrics 3 days a week fuels my inspiration and serves my creative social needs and supplies my habit with glorious fabrics.
This is the Sew Liberated Metamorphic dress pattern used to make my bluegreen dress. The solid is silk that was donated in the community bin, the batik is a rayon. As I was sewing those long seams, I remembered, I’m actually making 2 dresses at the same time. Both sides have pockets. Terrific pattern and fabrics. Silk is little trickier, but it was FREE!
