Bodice muslin with shoulder, neckline and bust adjustments. Now I can confidently cut my beautiful pineapple chambray and proceed with a wrap front dress.
Progress report: the bodice is terrific, however the short sleeves I planned are not working for me. I’m taking them off, and reattaching the lining to the sleeve holes. Also, I am adding a skirt lining, with lightweight denim, which is actually lighter weight than the chambray and a tiny bit silky. It lines the tie front bodice and is wonderful there. I might have it show a bit? Still thinking about it. I see this looking good on it’s own, or layering over a T.
